hi!

so, my sleep sched is still way screwed. let's see what's in the news today

the Twins found a new way to lose today. playing the Rangers, the Twins dug themselves into a nice hole early as Lohse got tagged for 5 runs on a grand slam and a solo shot in just two innings of work. the boys battled back though, and at the top of 9, the good guys (by which I mean the Twins, not the store) had the lead, 7-6. unfortunately the usually reliable Joe Nathan unraveled and after a Texiera moon shot the Twins lost 10-6. sigh...

autumn is here. I think. the leaves are changing pretty quickly around here, but the temps don't want to seem to cooperate. it was 73 here today, but it was in the high 80's over the past weekend and mid 80's are expected to make a return appearance this week. I really wish autumn would just hurry the fuck up and come, seeing as it's my favorite season and all, and hopefully the massive cooldown happening next week will be the start of it. ot's around 60 right now, if anybody cares. because I sure do!

your mom called. she asked me to tell you that YOU SUCK

there are just waaaaay too many sweet DVD's coming out in the next couple months. it starts next week with Fever Pitch and continues with new Family Guy sets, the third season of 'That 70's Show' and that other movie that was released to an assload of fanfare at the beginning of the summer. so that should be super awesome. have a love affair with buying DVD's; I need to be STOPPED

PMB is coming back to the Twin Cities as the show opener for uh, Hanson. I still plan to be there, mostly for the hot underage trim.* it's at the Quest too, which is an automatic strike against the show.

got the new Josh Kelley last week titled Almost Honest. it's pretty dec, but the guy at AllMusic nailed it when he said Mayer comparisons would dog Kelley wherever he went. if you took Mayer's Heavier Things and his forthcoming blues album and combined them, you might get something closely resembling Honest. not to say that's bad, because it's a good record, but it's not too original. oh well, at least Kelley learned to stray from the basic versechorusversechorusbridgechorus formula for songwriting.

I think that's it. now, let's see how I do with going to sleep.

now playing on iTunes: Mandy Moore 'Hey'

*That was a joke, guys. Whenever you look at me like that, it was a joke.
